A few invented pairs help.

This is an existing shared public forwarding alias used by the free-tool portfolio, not a new Segmentspan mailbox. Email is optional; no registration, upload or conversation is needed to calculate locally.
A reproducible example
Include two or three invented start, end rows, expected merged components and the result you saw. Preserve small gaps, touching endpoints and decimal precision needed to reproduce the issue. State whether the concern is parsing, union membership, a length total, pagination or display.
Private project measurements, client data, passwords, payment details or identifying records are unnecessary. For a layout issue, the browser and approximate viewport width help. No response time, physical measurement review or suitability outcome is promised.
Check the model
The guide distinguishes continuous closed segments from integer counts and explains zero-length points. The examples show real gaps and why excess differs from multiply covered length. Coordinates must share a unit. This tool does not infer uncertainty or determine whether material can safely be cut or installed. Return to the calculator to inspect the entered set locally.
